Mythic+ dungeon of the season
The Blinding Vale
Watch out for 9 spells to interrupt, 9 effects to dispel and 12 spells to avoid, plus the enemy forces value of every mob.

Key takeaways
Group damage more than tank damage. Spouting Floret from Sporeblight Belchers (Light pulses on every player within 60 yards) and Ziekket's Oozing Xylem (the whole group, every 3 s) make up nearly a third of the damage taken. These are healing moments, not dodging ones: healing cooldowns and group defensives. The Belchers' Belch Spores, on the other hand, can be dodged.
Lots of casters. Radiant Spellsowers cast Light Bolt, Light Bolt Volley (4 s, whole group) and Frantic Blooming, which wakes up nearby Lashers after 8 s: kick the blooming first. Lightfeather Petalwings disorient the group (Disorienting Screech, 4 s) and Leafy Grovecrawlers shoot seeds: kick those too.
Bleeds weigh heavy: Thornblade from Underbrush Stalkers, and Lightwarden Ruia's Grievous Thrash, which stacks for 40 s or until the player is fully healed. Topping off the players hit is better than healing everyone a little.
Remove from enemies: the Spineshield Beetles' Spiny Shield is a magic shield that a purge takes off. Spore Spines from Lashers (magic) mostly target the tank.
Drawn from the keys Wipe to Win has analysed in this dungeon: the spells that did the most damage to the group, the ones that killed, and the ones groups interrupt the most.
Spells to interrupt
In this dungeon, these enemy spells can be interrupted. A kick stops them, and so does crowd control that breaks the cast: stun, silence, fear.
| Spell | Cast by |
|---|---|
| Lightgorged Lasher | |
| Radiant Spellsower | |
| Radiant Spellsower | |
| Radiant Spellsower | |
| Lightfeather Petalwing | |
| Leafy Grovecrawler | |
| Kezkitt | |
| Lightwarden Ruia | |
| Lightspawn Lasher |
In a key, Wipe to Win only holds a cast that went through against players whose kick was ready, and only if it hurt: a death, or more than 40% of someone's HP. The details are in the interrupts guide.
Effects to dispel
These effects are removed by a dispel of the right type, or soothed when the enemy enrages. The type tells which classes can handle it.
| Spell | Removed by | Cast by |
|---|---|---|
| Magic | Lasher | |
| Bleed | Underbrush Stalker | |
| Magic | Spineshield Beetle | |
| Bleed | Lekshi | |
| Bleed | Lightwarden Ruia, Spirit Bear | |
| Bleed | Ziekket | |
| Bleed | Ikuzz the Light Hunter | |
| Poison | Potatoad Matriarch | |
| Magic | Bloodthorn Roots |
When a player dies under a debuff that had been up for more than 2 s, and that debuff was already dispelled in one of your logs, the report says, for every player who removed it before, whether they could have.
Avoidable damage
Blizzard classifies these spells as "avoidable" in its own damage meter: ground effects, frontals, leaps. Every hit counts, the first one included, and Wipe to Win holds no other spell against you. How they are counted.

|---|---|
| Thorny Saptor | |
