Mythic+ dungeon of the season
Temple of Sethraliss
Watch out for 9 spells to interrupt, 8 effects to dispel and 13 spells to avoid, plus the enemy forces value of every mob.

Key takeaways
Orb Watchers hurt the group the most. Caustic Stomp, a 3.5 s cast, hits every player within 60 yards and leaves a 10 s poison. It cannot be kicked: keep a defensive or a healing cooldown for it. Their Venom Shrapnel lands in small areas to avoid.
Lightning Bolt, from Storm Adepts and Imbued Stormcallers, is by far the most interrupted spell, and it has killed: 2.5 s, heavy damage on one player. Venom Bolt from Brood Tenders can be kicked too. Faithless Subjugators cast Addle Mind, a curse to kick or to remove.
Krolusks charge players, never the tank in the keys recorded (Serrated Charge, with a 6 s bleed), and Sandswept Hunters rain arrows on one player for 9 s: a personal defensive for the target.
On Galvazzt, Galvanized hits the player linked to a spire and makes them take 250% more physical damage: they must stay away from mobs. Induction hits the whole group and leaves an Induction Field, to leave right away. On Merektha, Thunder Spit killed several players: lightning strikes the targeted spot every second for 4 s, get out of it.
Drawn from the keys Wipe to Win has analysed in this dungeon: the spells that did the most damage to the group, the ones that killed, and the ones groups interrupt the most.
Spells to interrupt
In this dungeon, these enemy spells can be interrupted. A kick stops them, and so does crowd control that breaks the cast: stun, silence, fear.
| Spell | Cast by |
|---|---|
| Storm Adept, Imbued Stormcaller | |
| Shrouded Fang | |
| Poisonous Viper | |
| Faithless Subjugator | |
| Faithless Subjugator | |
| Brood Tender | |
| Twisted Hexxer | |
| Toxic Viper | |
| Twisted Hexxer |
In a key, Wipe to Win only holds a cast that went through against players whose kick was ready, and only if it hurt: a death, or more than 40% of someone's HP. The details are in the interrupts guide.
Effects to dispel
These effects are removed by a dispel of the right type, or soothed when the enemy enrages. The type tells which classes can handle it.
| Spell | Removed by | Cast by |
|---|---|---|
| Poison | Shrouded Fang | |
| Poison | Poisonous Viper | |
| Curse | Faithless Subjugator | |
| Curse | Faithless Subjugator | |
| Magic | Agitated Nimbus | |
| Magic | Agitated Nimbus, Imbued Stormcaller | |
| Magic | Imbued Stormcaller | |
| Poison | Toxic Viper |
When a player dies under a debuff that had been up for more than 2 s, and that debuff was already dispelled in one of your logs, the report says, for every player who removed it before, whether they could have.
Avoidable damage
Blizzard classifies these spells as "avoidable" in its own damage meter: ground effects, frontals, leaps. Every hit counts, the first one included, and Wipe to Win holds no other spell against you. How they are counted.
